The mast in the foreground is the gin-pole used to pull the A3S tri-band beam to 40ft. In the distance (and to the right of Ian), the full-size 80m vertical can be seen.

The weather was excellent at sunrise on the Monday after the Contest. However the gales, which had plagued us both before and during the Contest, returned again later in the day.
