Table shows the top-ten non-EU countries worked in 2018 and 2019.

Comparing the non-EU QSOs between 2019 and 2018, shows that although there was a slight increase in the number of North American (405 vs 369) stations and UA9 stations (35 vs 30) worked in 2019, there was a dramatic drop-off in the number of JAs worked from 20 last year (2018) to zero JAs this year (2019).
Being a" night-time only band" a single-band 160m entry does allow for two welcome rest periods during much of the day-time.
Exactly the same set-up as last year. Unfortunately condx were nowhere near as good. No JA, ZL or VK heard. My noise level made it very difficult to copy weak callers, so apologies go to those I couldn't hear.

Nevertheless, great fun as ever.

Yes, water-logged ground is good for 160m!
160m vertical antenna in a flat and muddy field.
Here's a nice dip in the right place on my antenna analyser!
Radial wires - lots of them.
Home-brew "hair-pin" coil to help match the 160m antenna.
