The past eight years in review:

2015 the year started with BERU (Commonwealth Contest) from Namibia as V5/G3TXF in March followed by the ARI DX Contest from Israel as 4X/G3TXF in April. In June there was a short trip to Moldova and activity as ER/G3TXF. In July G3TXF joined with Ian G3WVG to make an entry in the IOTA Contest from Papa Stour off Shetland as GM4S. In September G3TXF joined the E6GG Niue DX-pedition team. During a second visit to Shetland in November, CQWW CW was operated as MZ5B with Ian G3WVG operating as MZ5A from the same Eshaness Lighthouse location. In December there was a short operation as PJ6/G3TXF from Saba which coincided with the ARRL 10m Contest.

2014 the year started with the FOC Marathon from EA8/G3TXF in February followed by the ARRL CW Contest from Senegal as 6W/G3TXF. BERU was operated for the second year in succession as ZF2XF from Cayman. Also in March G3TXF participated in the six-man TX6G operation from the Australes. In July G3TXF joined with Ian G3WVG to make an entry in the IOTA Contest from Grímsey island off Iceland as TF/G3TXF. In September G3TXF sailed to Tristan da Cunha and made 25,700 CW QSOs operating as ZD9XF. 2014 was another record year both for QSOs made on DX-peditions (47,300) and for the overall total number of QSOs made in the year (55,000).

2013 the year started with BERU (Commonwealth Contest) from ZF2XF, soon followed by participation in the multi-op XR0YG DX-pedition (with G3ZAY, G4IRN and G7VJR) from Easter Island. As part of the FOC 75th Anniversary celebrations small operations were made from Jersey GH4FOC (with G3SXW) and Wales (GC4FOC/p). Later in the year operations were also made from PJ2, PJ4 (SAC Contest) and PJ7.

2012 the five-op 56,000 QSO VP6T operation from Pitcairn started a busy year. This was followed by a second visit to St Helena ZD7XF in March, including BERU. In April G3TXF took part in the Malaysian-Japanese 9M0L operation from Spratly. In July G3TXF was part of the OJ0R Market-Reef IOTA Contest activity (with G3XTT, SM0T and SM0W). In September there was the large multi-national "re-launch of Amateur Radio operation in Kosovo" activity Z60K, and in October an operation (with G7VJR) from Corvo (CU9AO) as part of the Azores activity weekend. 2012 was a record year for the number of QSOs made (49,800) with 14,200 QSOs as G3TXF at home and 35,600 QSOs from overseas.

2011 started with a BERU trip to Montserrat VP2M in March followed in June by an operation as ZD7XF from St Helena. These were interspersed with short trips to both OE5 and EA9 Melilla. 2011 was a record year with a total of 39,300 QSOs (20,300 QSOs as G3TXF at home and 19,000 QSOs from overseas).

2010 was another relatively quiet year with just one major trip (as part of the four-op TX4T operation from Tahiti in February) and a small trip to SV5 and SV9 with G3SXW in October.

2009 started with two short trips in quick succession. First in February to Mayreau (St Vincent) as J88XF, followed a month later by a BERU operation as 6Y8XF from Jamaica. A three-stop Pacific whirl-wind tour was made with Dennis F5VHY (G3MXJ) to FK, YJ and VK9N in late March. The remainder of 2009 was quiet on the DX-ped front, however 15,400 QSOs were made as G3TXF from home. A record year for G3TXF QSOs from home!

2008 started with a trip to the recently new DXCC entity FJ. In February took part in the Kosovo YU8/OH2R operation. In March a solo trip to VP5 for BERU. Two trips in April: one to OE5 and then part of the five-op UK team at YK9G. August saw a brief operation from T7. November two trips to OX, one with G3WVG.
