Three As Contest Group - G0AAA

The 2007 GW0AAA/p QSL shows Ian G3WVG, Steve GW4BLE (with wireless headphones!) and Roger G3SXW by the field-day antenna and Nigel G3TXF at the operating position in a van. Roger G3SXW, Nigel G3TXF and Ian G3WVG have been taking part in the RSGB's HF Field Day since the early 80's. In latter years this has been as the Three As Contest Group G0AAA.

The Three As Contest Group operated CQWW CW for seven years from 1981 to 1987 with the Multi-Single score gradually increasing from 2.5m to 4.7m points.

Six of these CQWW CW entries (1981-1986) were from the Channel Islands [Alderney GU / Jersey GJ], and in 1987 the group entered as LX/G0AAA from Luxembourg.
